Using the game

Windies is provided as it is, for your personal use. You may not resell it, take it apart, or use it to break the law.

Names on the leaderboard

There is no tolerance for objectionable names. Anything abusive, hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonating another person, or otherwise offensive is not allowed on the board.

Every entry carries a hide control and a report control. Hiding a name removes it from every board on your device until you unhide it in Settings. Reported names are hidden at once, reviewed and removed within 24 hours, and the device that posted one may be blocked from posting again.

By posting a name you accept these terms and confirm the name is yours to use.

Hints and the one purchase

Every hint adds time to the clock and caps the level at two stars. Without a purchase there is one hint a level.

Unlimited hints is a single one-time purchase, made through Apple and charged to your Apple ID. It lifts the one-a-level limit and changes nothing else: bought hints cost exactly what free ones do. It is yours on every device signed in to the same Apple ID, and Restore purchase in Settings brings it back after a reinstall.

There are no advertisements, no subscriptions and no other purchases. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms.

The game is provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it, and we may change or withdraw it at any time.
